Feature
Bring Your Own AI Keys
Your API keys, your usage, your control.
Configure your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or Runway API keys per workspace. There's no shared key and no markup on model usage — what you configure is exactly what gets used, and nothing runs on a paid provider until you've set up a key for it.
- Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Runway keys, configured per workspace
- No shared fallback key — you're always in control of what gets billed and where
- Switch providers for text or video generation independently, anytime
How it works
Bring Your Own AI Keys in three steps
Open Settings → AI Providers
See every vendor (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Runway) and whether a key is configured for each.
Paste in your API key
Keys are encrypted at rest and never shown back to you or exposed to any client — write-only by design.
Choose your provider per feature
Pick which provider powers text generation and which powers video generation, independently, and switch anytime.
Who it's for

Anyone who wants full control
See exactly what's configured, switch providers anytime, and never wonder what a shared key is costing you.
Questions about bring your own ai keys
What happens if I don't configure a key?+
You can still use the built-in Mock provider to try the workflow for free — but a real provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Runway) won't run without its key configured. There's no shared fallback key.
Is my key ever shown again after I save it?+
No — keys are write-only. Settings only shows whether a key is configured, never the key itself.
Does one key cover both text and video?+
Where the vendor overlaps — for example, OpenAI powers both GPT text generation and Sora video — one key covers both. Google similarly covers Gemini text and Veo video.
