AI costs
Bring your own AI keys, pay providers directly
Every plan includes a monthly AI allowance, so you can work without configuring anything. When you outgrow it, add your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google key and that usage bills from the provider at their rates. Video vendors work the same way — ElevenLabs, HeyGen, D-ID, Higgsfield, Sync Labs and Tavus are billed by them directly — Landio takes no cut and applies no markup.
You also choose the model per job, separately for text, images and video. Routing short captions to a cheaper model and saving the expensive one for launch copy is usually the single largest lever on what AI drafting costs you each month.

Do I need a credit card to start?+
No — the Free plan works without a credit card, and you can upgrade whenever you're ready.
What happens if I hit a plan limit?+
You'll see a clear message when you're at a limit (like connected accounts or AI generations for the month) — nothing breaks silently, and you can upgrade at any time to raise it.
Can I use my own AI provider keys?+
Yes — every plan lets you configure your own keys per workspace: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and other text and image providers, plus video and voice vendors like Runway, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, D-ID, Higgsfield, Sync Labs and Tavus. You control exactly what gets billed and where.
Are the video tools included on every plan?+
Yes. Video templates, the script writer, talking avatar videos, Clone Studio, auto captions and editing, and translate & dub all work on Free. What changes between plans is the monthly video allowance — see 'What a month of video gets you' above.
What uses a video generation?+
Each AI-generated video, talking avatar video and on-camera template run uses one, and dubbing uses one per language. Writing scripts, faceless templates, captions, stock b-roll, music and brand intros and outros don't.
Which keys do the video features need?+
Captions, templates and voiced scripts need an OpenAI key. Talking videos need the key for the engine you pick (Higgsfield, D-ID, HeyGen, Sync Labs or Tavus). Clone Studio and dubbing use ElevenLabs, with Sync Labs for lip-sync and Tavus for trained replicas.
Can I change plans later?+
Yes, you can move between plans at any time as your team and needs grow.
What counts toward the posts-per-month limit?+
Every post that actually publishes to a connected account counts once per platform variant — drafts and scheduled-but-not-yet-published posts don't count until they go live.
Do AI generations cost extra on top of my plan?+
No extra charge from Landio — your plan includes a monthly AI generation allowance. If you configure your own provider key, usage is billed by that provider directly, at their rates.
What's the difference between Starter, Pro, and Agency?+
