Getting Your API Keys

How to get a Sync Labs API key

Video clones with no training: your own footage, lip-synced to any new script.

What a Sync Labs key powers in Landio

Sync Labs re-times the lips in a real recording of you to match new audio. In Clone Studio that makes a video clone from footage you already have, usable straight away — no training wait.

If the new script is longer than the footage, the footage loops, so give it at least a minute of continuous, natural talking.

Creating the key

Keys are created in the Sync dashboard.

  1. Sign in at sync.so.

  2. Open the API keys page of your dashboard and create a key.

  3. Copy the key.

Adding the key to Landio

Open AI Providers from the sidebar, find Sync Labs in the vendor list, paste the key, and save. Clone Studio can then make instant video clones.

Keys are encrypted at rest and write-only — after saving, the page only tells you that a key exists, never what it is, so keep the copy you saved at the vendor.

There's no included allowance for Sync Labs: everything it makes is billed by Sync Labs to your account at their rates. Check their pricing page for what a minute of output costs before running it at volume.

Before you clone a face

Film one continuous take, facing the camera, with no cuts.

Only clone a voice or face you have the right to use — your own, or someone who has given you written permission for this exact use. Keep that permission on file. Cloning someone without consent can break the vendor's terms and the law where you or they live.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to paste an API key into a third-party app?

Keys are encrypted before storage and never displayed again after you save them. That said, the honest general answer is: give any third party the narrowest key you can, and keep the ability to revoke it. Where a vendor supports scoped or restricted keys, use one limited to the models Landio actually calls, and rotate it from the vendor's console if you ever stop using us.

This walkthrough was last checked against the provider's live console on . Providers redesign their dashboards without notice — if what you see doesn't match, the button names have probably moved rather than the process changing.
