Getting Your API Keys
How to get a D-ID API key
Long talking videos — up to two minutes — from a single photo or an influencer's portrait.
What a D-ID key powers in Landio
D-ID animates a still photo to speak a voiceover, for talking videos longer than the 15 seconds Higgsfield allows — up to two minutes here.
Creating the key
D-ID issues API keys from its Studio.
Sign in at studio.d-id.com.
Open the API section of your account and generate a key.
Copy the key exactly as shown (it may contain a colon — paste all of it).
Adding the key to Landio
Open AI Providers from the sidebar, find D-ID in the vendor list, paste the key, and save. D-ID then appears as an engine in the talking-avatar dialog.
Keys are encrypted at rest and write-only — after saving, the page only tells you that a key exists, never what it is, so keep the copy you saved at the vendor.
There's no included allowance for D-ID: everything it makes is billed by D-ID to your account at their rates. Check their pricing page for what a minute of output costs before running it at volume.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste an API key into a third-party app?
Keys are encrypted before storage and never displayed again after you save them. That said, the honest general answer is: give any third party the narrowest key you can, and keep the ability to revoke it. Where a vendor supports scoped or restricted keys, use one limited to the models Landio actually calls, and rotate it from the vendor's console if you ever stop using us.
This walkthrough was last checked against the provider's live console on . Providers redesign their dashboards without notice — if what you see doesn't match, the button names have probably moved rather than the process changing.
